-Troop 1032 Blog-Day 13 - Thurs 14/1/2010 CLOSING CEREMONY Today was the last half of adventurous activities, which involved the waterslides and challenge valley. The first half of the day was spent completing the last activities required to win a Jamboree Award. The second half of the day was used to start packing up the gear that was not needed for the rest of the Jamboree. Slowly buyt surely around us it became obvious that AJ2010 was winding down to a close. Sites began to vanish, and Scouts and Leaders from interstate were getting ready to depart as soon as the closing ceremony was finished. The closing ceremony will bring AJ2010 to a close with a bang! The lives of thousands of scouts and leaders alike changed for the better. New friends made, memories lasting a lifetime created in the space of a fortnight.
